ENVIRONMENT / The project is inspired by the rural context, and wants to fit inside harmoniously becoming at the same time strong signal of change.
The strong morphological characteristics of environment are the vineyard with its rows, and the wooden hillside. Their reports, the contact line and height differences are behind the design.

TRADITION / The traditional processes, ie the part of the production cycle more closely linked to the history and rural culture, find space in an underground volume thatseeks to minimize its impact on'environment becoming a traditional element characteristic of the Tuscan countryside: the wall a retaining gap, "the wall in a straight" used for the terraces.

CONTEMPORANEITY / The spectacle of the product/wine, its centrality in regional marketing and promotion of the work of farms is peculiar trait of contemporary cellars.
It must then be hosted at inside of a volume that reflects the features and exalt the innovative and dynamic character: an iconic and rapresentative elements.

THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ENVIRONMENT / The project enters into a relationship with the context and with the visitors/operators flows, deforming and being permeable. The vineyard and along the whole valley, become scenic backdrop for the reception and tasting activities that take place all inside of the cellar, and it will increase the visual relationship between the various interior spaces and the outside.
